'I had three beers': Indiana Democrat who said 'we have guns, too' refuses to retract her attacks on Republicans

Jaime West had earlier told the Connersville News-Examiner she drank just one beer before the forum. Pressed repeatedly by Piers Morgan on his 'Uncensored' show, her count rose from a Coors Light to 'a couple' to three. She insisted she was 'not that intoxicated' and still knows Indiana politics. West is standing for Fayette County Council District 4 on Election Day.

At the 9 October Connersville TV3 forum, West vowed to fire 'all Republicans' if elected.

She branded MAGA supporters 'racist' and said they 'aren't very intelligent at all'.

West explained her drinking: 'I was going into a room full of Republicans!'
