Iran says it is ready for diplomacy but insists 'not a single gram' of enriched uranium will leave the country

Maj. Gen. Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, outlined the hardline stance following his meeting with Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, on Tuesday. Rezaei said the US must first rebuild trust through the 'full fulfillment of all Iran's conditions'. Tehran is also threatening undersea cables in the Strait of Hormuz, and the war has dragged on since February.

Iran says two oil tankers ignited after hitting mines in Hormuz on 17 October.
