Iranian fishermen swarm the Strait of Hormuz to scoop up iPhones and French perfume after a container ship sank
The Singapore-flagged GFS Pride went down with more than 2,500 containers aboard, and all 21 crew were evacuated uninjured. Iran's Revolutionary Guards claim the ship strayed onto an 'unauthorised and dangerous' route and hit a mine. Singapore's maritime authority says it was struck by unknown projectiles. Footage shows dozens of skiffs dragging boxes from the water.
One man filmed his crew setting off: 'We're going to collect iPhones and perfume.'
The GFS Pride is the third ship lost since the conflict began in late February.
One clip shows a lone boat trying to tow an entire shipping container.
