Irish police believe a man found dead at a Dublin recycling plant in the early hours 'may have been murdered'

Irish police were called to Clondalkin shortly before 1am on Saturday, where a man was found dead at a west Dublin recycling facility — the second such discovery at a waste site in the area in recent months. Andrew Haire, 35, was found in a collection bin at the Greyhound recycling facility, also in Clondalkin, in July. The dead man has yet to be identified and a post-mortem has still to be carried out. Gardaí have established an incident room at Ronanstown Garda Station.

The body remains at the scene while the Garda Technical Bureau carries out a forensic examination.

A senior investigating officer has been appointed and the State Pathologist notified.

William Carey, a Sinn Féin councillor, said: 'I just feel for the family.'
