Israel orders its army to prepare a full closure of the West Bank after gunmen wound five Israelis near Hebron

Israeli medics from Magen David Adom said two of the five wounded are in a critical state. Both suspected attackers were shot dead by Israeli soldiers at the Judea Junction in the southern West Bank on Friday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office ordered security forces to seal off Hebron immediately. The attack occurred as Israelis prepare to head to the polls in a pivotal election.

First responders said the remaining three victims sustained light-to-moderate injuries.

The IDF has labelled the two dead gunmen 'terrorists' but has yet to disclose their identities.

Soldiers established a blockade and continued searching the surrounding area following the shooting.
