'It's a scam': Trump threatens legal action to remove a second Dan Sullivan from the Alaska Senate ballot

Daniel J. Sullivan, a registered Republican and retired school teacher, is challenging sitting Republican Senator Daniel S. Sullivan in November. President Donald Trump claims Democrats put the challenger up to confuse voters, calling it 'CHEATING in an Election'. Some Republicans have dubbed the teacher 'Decoy Dan'. Under Alaska's ranked-choice system, both Sullivans will appear alongside Democrat Mary Peltola.

Trump warned that 'even 1, 2, or 3%' of confused votes 'could make the difference'.

He said the judge who let the teacher stay on 'should be ashamed of himself'.

The retired teacher had already been removed from the ballot once, in June.
