'It's fake': Trump dismisses polls putting his approval in the 30s and insists his real rating is 60%

A New York Times/Siena College poll put Donald Trump's approval at 34 percent, the lowest for a president nearing midterms since Harry Truman in 1946. Pew Research Center found just 30 percent backing him. Pressed by interviewer Byron York, Trump said: 'I don't believe I could be beaten by anybody.' Republicans defend their congressional majorities on November 3.
Trump cited pollster Wedgewood, which admitted fabricating figures, though the Times says it wasn't used.
'Show him the 99%,' Trump urged, citing his 2024 share of the MAGA vote.
His Midwest approval is reportedly 38 percent, 19 points underwater for the first time.
