Hayden Panettiere's 911 call reveals brothers' frantic CPR battle to save 'Heroes' actress from fentanyl overdose

Zach Hickerson returned from church to find Hayden Panettiere unconscious and not breathing at a South Carolina Airbnb on 16 August, triggering a desperate 911 call that has since been released. Guided by dispatchers, Zach and his brother Brian performed CPR on the 36-year-old until paramedics arrived — but she was pronounced dead at 2:32pm local time. Panettiere's cause of death was the toxic effects of fentanyl, 4-ANPP, methocarbamol, alprazolam and quetiapine, ruled accidental.

Brian Hickerson, Panettiere's on-off boyfriend since 2018, handed officers 'a bag of medication' she had been taking.

'Oh my God! I know how to do this! How many times!' one brother cried out on the call during CPR instructions.

Skip Panettiere confirmed his daughter's death, calling her 'an incredible light and a force of nature.'
