ITV bosses were told by Rochelle Rackham herself about an 11-year-old meme she shared — which joked that Muslims could bungee jump "no strings attached" — before she entered the Big Brother house, insiders have revealed. Despite nearly 500 Ofcom complaints over her conduct with Black housemate Johanne, production has decided she will remain. A separate racist anecdote Rochelle told inside the house was quietly cut from broadcast.

The meme read: 'Experience bungee jumping only £35 a jump. Muslims go free. No strings attached' — Rochelle added 'Love this' and 'Lol.'

A train-story anecdote Rochelle told housemates, in which she described 'a Black guy acting weird', offended co-star Lynx, who confronted her on camera before they hugged and she apologised.

Viewers are pointing to double standards after evicted housemate Trish Balusa was stripped of all post-show appearances over her own historic social media posts.
