Jack Lowden is the man to beat as final James Bond screen tests get underway at Bray Studios

Callum Turner, 36, was first through the door at the Berkshire studios on Friday to audition for Daniel Craig's role. Bookmaker William Hill has slashed Richard Madden from 40/1 to 14/1, while Lowden sits at 4/6. Josh O'Connor is also expected to test, but Jacob Elordi and Jack O'Connell are reportedly out. Producer Amy Pascal has said an announcement by the end of the year is a 'good bet'.

Hopefuls face three tests: stunts, camera presence and dialogue.

The next three days of auditions are reportedly set to be decisive.

Barbara Broccoli reportedly called Amazon's team 'f–king idiots' before the studio took creative control of Bond.
