James Acaster reveals the BBC cut a Celebrity Traitors scene in which he told Jerry Hall 'it might be me'
Comedian James Acaster, 41, revealed on a podcast that Jerry Hall, 70, confronted him face-to-face and declared 'I think it's James' — and he responded by saying 'I think it might be me as well, Jerry.' Hall then called him 'very sneaky' before walking away, and Acaster was stunned when producers cut the entire exchange from the BBC edit.
Acaster said he 'said a lot more around that roundtable than the edit would suggest', suggesting viewers saw a fraction of his involvement.
Richard Osman has said Acaster's dramatic confession — admitting he was recruited as a Traitor against his will — may change how the game is played in future series.
Acaster also revealed a moment he nearly quit the show during a coffin challenge, calling it his 'greatest fear' after soil was heaped on top of him.
