Maya Jama has broken her silence on James Acaster's shock Traitors confession, saying "it was hard" and that she had no idea he was struggling with being a Traitor throughout filming. Meanwhile, a cut scene has emerged in which Acaster effectively hinted at his identity to Jerry Hall face-to-face — only for the exchange to be dropped from the edit entirely.

Acaster told Jerry Hall 'I think it might be me as well' when she accused him, but the confrontation never aired, leaving fans unaware how close he came to confessing earlier.

Filming was paused after Acaster became anxious at the roundtable, and he was absent from the spin-off show 'Uncloaked' amid concern for his well-being.

Faithfuls Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan won the series, splitting the £83,000 prize pot between their two charities after the last Traitor, King Kenny, was banished.
