JD Vance blames 'Western liberals' who 'imported the third world' after rioters torched France's 143-year-old Limoges town hall
Vance warned Americans to 'pay attention', claiming the chaos is 'the future congressional Democrats seek for your country'. He said liberals 'were told it would lead to this and they didn't listen'. Built in 1883, the Limoges landmark survived both world wars before its roof crashed onto the floors below. Arrests topped 1,200 as around 550,000 marched across France.
Vance prayed France would 'stop this madness before more of its landmarks burn'.
Robert Jenrick posted: 'France is on fire. This fate awaits us too.'
Prefect Maurice Barate called the blaze 'a deliberate act by hooligans'.
