Jenrick claims Farage has done more to fight racism than 'almost anybody' as ITV sting exposes Reform councillors
Robert Jenrick made the extraordinary claim on BBC Radio 4's Today programme as Reform battles a wave of fresh revelations from a year-long ITV undercover investigation. Footage shows councillors describing black children as 'animals', calling for the King to be beheaded, and urging mass deportations to Pakistan. Reform MP Sarah Pochin was secretly filmed calling her own party 'so f***ing chauvinistic' and warning that it 'just excludes you if you're a woman.'
Jenrick compared Reform's vetting failures to BBC paedophile presenter scandals, saying no organisation could guarantee a 'fool-safe' process.
Footage also showed a senior Reform official warning Farage he was 'protecting' a mayoral candidate accused of telling David Lammy to 'go back to the Caribbean.'
A Reform councillors' booklet quietly advises using equality impact assessments — despite the party's pledge to scrap the Equality Act 'on day one.'
