Jeremy Clarkson is to build a farm-grown Jaguar F-Type in a new Prime Video special due in 2027

Jeremy Clarkson is set to return to his motoring roots by attempting to recreate a Jaguar F-Type V6S using materials harvested from his Diddly Squat Farm, in a standalone Prime Video episode titled 'Jeremy Grows A Car: A Clarkson's Farm Special'. The 66-year-old, frustrated by what he called modern cars' "nanny-state technology," says he would rather build his own than buy one. The special is due to air in 2027.

Legendary F-Type and Aston Martin Vanquish designer Ian Callum has signed up to help Clarkson with the project.

Clarkson will use Diddly Squat leather for the interior, wool carpets, and farm-grown flax fibre processed into a sustainable carbon-fibre alternative.
