Jersey officials hold urgent review and seek UK help after drones cause flight cancellations for a second night

Police confirmed that two or three drones penetrated Jersey Airport's restricted airspace over Friday and Saturday nights, grounding flights from Heathrow, Gatwick and Southampton and turning three aircraft back to the UK mainland.

Officers say the drone activity is not believed to be linked to terrorism, but an investigation is under way to find those responsible.

Jersey's Chief Minister Senator Lyndon Farnham warned drone operators they should expect to face 'the full consequences of the law' if identified.
