Jet2 is pulling every flight and holiday package to La Palma in the Canary Islands, with the final Manchester departure set for 30 October — only six months after the route launched in April. The airline has also scrapped a planned London Stansted service before it ever takes off, citing low demand after an internal review.

Affected customers are being offered a full refund or the option to rebook to a different destination with Jet2.

TUI will now be the only airline offering seasonal direct UK flights to La Palma, leaving the island with drastically reduced British connections.
