Healey and Miliband ridiculed for Bangkok tuk tuk snack video with tough Budget less than two weeks away
Chancellor John Healey and Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband have drawn widespread mockery after posting a video of themselves riding a tuk tuk and sampling Thai snacks in Bangkok, with Britain facing record-high borrowing costs and a painful Budget on October 28.
Shadow chancellor Andrew Griffith accused Healey of "pretending to be an influencer" while fuel prices soar and youth unemployment bites.
Nigel Farage branded the pair "cringe-making" as the clip spread rapidly across social media.
