Jordan says 'terrorists' were killed in the strikes and has now linked the church gunmen to 'terrorist groups'. On Monday, officials said there were no signs the suspects had ties to other cells. Two brothers and their brother-in-law were wounded and arrested in a dawn shootout in an abandoned house in Karak. Interior Minister Mazen al-Faraya says 'the file has not yet been closed'.

King Abdullah II ordered security forces to respond with an 'iron fist'.

Gunmen fired for around 15 minutes at St George's church in Hmoud, wounding 34.

Survivor Khalid al-Mdanat said the attackers fled in a pick-up truck, 'firing as they went'.
