Jordan tightens security at embassies and malls as the manhunt continues for gunmen who killed seven at a church funeral

Jordan's health minister says 40 people were wounded in the attack at the Hamoud Church in Karak governorate, up from earlier counts of 28 and 34. Prime Minister Jafar Hassan blamed 'terrorist ideology and blind extremism' for the bloodshed. Up to 200 mourners, most reportedly aged 50 to 70, were at the Greek Orthodox funeral when the shooting began. No group has claimed responsibility.

Security camera footage shows three attackers firing pistols and a long gun before charging the entrance.

One survivor says an attacker pointed a handgun straight at him.

King Abdullah II vowed to strike those responsible 'with an iron fist'.
