Judge throws out OpenAI boss Sam Altman's sister's sex abuse lawsuit after she missed an independent medical exam three times

District Judge Zachary Bluestone dismissed Annie Altman's claims with prejudice, citing her 'intransigence' and saying the court had 'run out of options'. She alleged her brother abused her at the family home in Clayton, Missouri, between 1997 and 2006, beginning when she was three years old and he was 12. Sam Altman, now 41, denies the accusations. His family says she has mental health challenges and raised the claims after seeking additional money.

Santos Perez, her former lawyer who withdrew this month, said: 'I continue to believe in Annie.'

The case was filed in January 2025 in the Eastern District of Missouri.

The Altman family says it pays her rent, her bills and a monthly allowance.
