A small fire broke out in the rafters of Kacey Musgraves's stage at TD Garden in Boston on Friday during a pyrotechnics mishap on her 'Middle of Nowhere' tour. The 38-year-old country singer was mid-performance of her 2018 hit 'Golden Hour' — which contains the lyric 'you set my world on fire' — when flames appeared in a light fixture overhead. She kept the crowd entertained throughout, cracking jokes as the blaze burned above before dying out on its own after roughly three minutes.

Perched on the edge of a platform, Musgraves quipped: 'Does anybody have a bedazzled fire extinguisher anywhere?'

She also used the Boston show to pay tribute to Dolly Parton, who died on Tuesday aged 80, performing a cover of Parton's 1977 song 'Here You Come Again'.

Fans online couldn't resist the irony, with one commenting: 'You set my world on fireeeeee.'
