Kansas man is charged with threatening to shoot Trump after claiming he had mapped rooftops near the Wichita rally site

Jaden J. Read, 24, from Clearwater, was arrested on Saturday after a Crime Stoppers tip on October 15 flagged his Facebook comments. He allegedly wrote 'Let's shoot Trump honestly, where's our shooter?' beneath a KAKE News report on the president's visit. He then allegedly claimed he had bought ammunition: 'I just got a 308 and 305 round and I'm killing this pedo.' Federal prosecutors have charged him with threatening the president.

Two days after the tip, investigators found more posts under a KWCH 12 News report.

'Can we shoot him in Kansas please I will myself,' Read allegedly wrote.

A minute later he allegedly posted: 'IK where your speech will be. Already mapped out roofs around.'
