Kansas police hit out at rumours over why the driver in the soccer field crash that killed two remains uncharged

Wichita police say detectives lack probable cause to charge the 34-year-old Garden City woman, who was released Sunday afternoon while investigators wait for toxicology results and a mechanical inspection of her truck. The crash at Stryker Sports Complex killed Cole Adrian, six, and Nicholas Schafer, 35, both from McPherson. Ten people aged five to 68 were injured.

Her black pickup cut across the youth soccer fields during a match on October 17.

Bystanders dragged her from the cab as she allegedly cried: 'Oh my God, what have I done?'

Mother Erica Case said: 'I saw debris flying in the air.'
