From the Newshound archive · first published 7 October 2026.

Lucky Voice, the popular karaoke chain, has entered administration and is closing half its venues with immediate effect, leaving dozens of workers without jobs. A rescue deal has been struck, but three sites — including its Brighton venue — will not survive the takeover.

Lucky Voice Brighton shut its doors immediately as the administration was announced, with no advance warning to customers or staff.

Dozens of jobs have been lost as part of the collapse, with remaining venues expected to continue trading under the rescue deal.
