Karoline Leavitt is to join Fox News as a contributor from November after leaving Trump's White House

Karoline Leavitt, 29, who served as Trump's press secretary from January 2025 until August 2026, is set to become an on-air contributor at Fox News from November 1, the network announced on Monday. Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott praised her "authentic and sharp insight" and said her White House experience gives her a "distinct understanding of today's political landscape." The hire comes even as Trump himself publicly raged at Fox this week for failing to air his midterm campaign rallies.

Leavitt left in August after welcoming her second child, having decided she wanted to prioritise her family.

The youngest White House press secretary on record, she follows Kayleigh McEnany in making the transition from Trump's briefing room to Fox.

Trump blasted Fox on Sunday for ignoring his rallies, accusing the network of "covering communists and socialists" — making her hire a striking moment of détente.
