Kaye Adams is to make her radio comeback on STV seven months after being sacked from her £155,000 BBC Scotland job

Kaye Adams, 63, is set to co-host a one-off Sunday Brunch show on STV Radio on October 4 alongside fellow Scottish broadcaster Shereen Nanjiani, her first major live radio role since losing her BBC Scotland position. Adams was suspended in October 2025 and later confirmed as not returning after an internal investigation found she had engaged in inappropriate behaviour, including swearing at a colleague and throwing a pen. She described the period as "brutal" and said she had been trying to get her life "back on track."

Adams spent 15 years hosting BBC Radio Scotland's flagship 'Mornings With' programme, earning £155,000 a year, before the misconduct inquiry ended her run.

She said STV holds 'such a special place in my heart', having first joined the broadcaster in 1988 to cover events including the Lockerbie disaster.

She was reportedly devastated when radio was taken from her, and the STV appearance is reportedly seen as potentially the start of new opportunities.
