Keir Starmer is expected to be called to give evidence at the grooming gangs inquiry he ORDERED after resisting it

Sir Keir Starmer has been named a core participant alongside Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, Angela Rayner and Yvette Cooper. Baroness Anne Longfield's £65 million, three-year inquiry has powers to compel witnesses. National Accountability Hearings are due to open in London in December. Sir Keir is expected to appear in the phase on institutional failures.

Sir Keir backed down after Elon Musk attacked him over the scandal on X.

Whistleblowers Maggie Oliver and Jayne Senior are also among the core participants.

Longfield said 'Reviews have been held before' but failed to deliver change for victims.
