Kemi Badenoch accuses 'showman' PM Andy Burnham of treating the job like reality TV with his Gogglebox appearance

Tory leader Kemi Badenoch tied the Channel 4 appearance to Burnham's talk of stockpiling canned goods, warning the government was not doing what 'will protect the country'. Prime Minister Andy Burnham sat on the No 10 sofa with Liverpool mayor Steve Rotheram for a Stand Up to Cancer special. The pair watched films including Callum's story of a brain tumour diagnosed at 15. Burnham said: 'it's devastating for that family'.
Badenoch branded him a 'showman PM' treating the job like reality TV.
'SNL UK' mocked the pair, showing Burnham downing a canister of Twiglets.
Badenoch was reportedly annoyed that she was not invited onto the show.
