Kemi Badenoch was among more than 100 MPs and public figures listed in an alleged online dossier found at the home of Joshua Kerry, 28, who faces charges of murdering Ann Widdecombe and plotting a terror attack against Nigel Farage. Several politicians named in the document — among them Tom Tugendhat, Robert Jenrick, Lee Anderson, Richard Tice and Rosie Duffield — have accused police and Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood of leaving them uninformed for months about their appearance in the property search. Kerry was charged in July with murdering Widdecombe, 78, who was struck with a hammer 21 times at her Devon home.
Kerry allegedly broke into Farage's south London home in April last year carrying lighter fluid in a bottle — police closed the case on the grounds that no suspects could be identified, despite holding CCTV footage of both the suspect and their vehicle.
Zia Yusuf demanded the Home Secretary and police answer 'serious questions' about how threats against Reform figures are handled, saying 'anger does not begin to describe' Reform's reaction.
Counter-terror police have filed a self-referral to the police watchdog, which is now investigating one of their own staff members over the handling of the Farage break-in probe.
