James Talarico hit back by branding Ken Paxton 'the most corrupt politician in Texas' as the rivals held rallies in Fort Worth on Monday. Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr appeared at Paxton's event to endorse him. Texas hasn't sent a Democrat to the Senate since 1993, yet Talarico holds a marginal polling lead. Talarico also skipped a Bernie Sanders rally in El Paso held to boost his bid.
Paxton told the crowd: 'How about we transition him and his crazy ideas right out of Texas?'
Elon Musk is pumping millions into Paxton, and Talarico says 'Texas is not for sale'.
MAGA influencer Thelma Louise was thrown out of a Paxton event in San Antonio and broke down in tears.
