Kieran Hayler tells rape trial he is 'attracted to older women' and accuses Katie Price of coaching alleged victim

Kieran Hayler, 39, took the stand at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday and flatly denied three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl, insisting the allegations "have been fabricated." Hayler said he discovered messages on Katie Price's phone in which she told the teenager she would "make you a little star," and concluded his ex-wife was coaching the girl into making false claims against him. Every serious relationship in his life had been with an older woman, he told the court, though he acknowledged being unfaithful with three other women during the marriage.
Hayler said he used his own fingerprint to unlock Price's phone and photograph the messages after she accused him of having feelings for the complainant.
The alleged rapes are said to have taken place in West Sussex in 2016, when the girl was 13 years old.
Price, who was separately heard in evidence describing "I will make you a little star" as "a figure of speech," faces her ex-husband's direct accusation of fabricating the case against him.
