Prince Harry's 'some people don't want it to work out' jab overshadows the King's State Visit for the Sultan of Oman

The 42-minute GQ interview dropped as King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Catherine welcomed the Sultan of Oman to a rain-swept Windsor Castle. Harry, who has not spoken to his brother for four years, insisted reconciliation was 'the most important thing'. A Sussex spokesman denied the remark was 'a swipe at his brother'. Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace stayed silent.

Harry and Meghan moved back to London in August after six years in California.

One royal source asked: 'Does he really think everyone has collective amnesia?'

Harry admitted 'scars stick around forever' but urged people to let go of the past.
