Kylie Kelce has issued a public apology to Catherine, Princess of Wales, after realising she used the wrong formal title when inviting her onto her 'Not Gonna Lie' podcast. Kelce had called her 'Princess Kate, Duchess of Cambridge' — a title Catherine no longer holds — while pitching a conversation about field hockey and motherhood. The apology came a week after the original September 24 episode aired. Kelce said simply: 'Now I know.'
The invitation came months after Prince William made a surprise appearance on the 'New Heights' podcast hosted by Kylie's husband Jason and brother-in-law Travis Kelce.
Kylie told listeners she and Catherine had 'a couple things in common', pointing to field hockey after Kate showed off her shinty skills at a recent royal engagement.
Travis Kelce married Taylor Swift earlier this year, making Kylie Swift's sister-in-law and cementing the family's unexpected ties to both pop royalty and the actual Royal Family.
