Laura Kuenssberg, who describes in her forthcoming memoir how she arrived at a minister's hotel room to find his partner also present, warns that young people starting out in Westminster are "sometimes very vulnerable" to poor behaviour by politicians.

Laura Kuenssberg, 50, reveals in her debut book 'Pay Attention' that she arrived at a party conference hotel room expecting a routine meeting with a minister and his adviser, only to find him sprawled across the bed with too many shirt buttons undone and his partner present. She left promptly and described the encounter as "very uncomfortable," adding she may have misread the situation entirely.

A separate married minister invited Kuenssberg to the theatre and attempted 'a little grope'; she immediately cut off all contact.

Kuenssberg warned that young people entering Westminster are 'sometimes very vulnerable' to bad behaviour by senior political figures.

A peer also sent her a 'really creepy text' complimenting her clothes on television; Kuenssberg stresses she does not socialise with politicians.
