Law firm behind Prince Harry's failed hacking claim against the Mail's publisher calls in insolvency experts and shuts its office

Thomson Heath Jenkins, founded in 2009 and wholly owned by Mark Thomson, has closed its doors. The collapse reportedly came as 'a shock for staff'. Thomson coordinated the case for all seven claimants and personally represented Sadie Frost and Sir Simon Hughes. As recently as October 15, the firm's website was still boasting of its high ranking in the Chambers & Partners UK Guide 2027.

Harry and his co-claimants face a costs bill of up to £34.5million, with insurance covering only £16million.

Mr Justice Nicklin threw out all claims in July, calling the case 'speculative'.

The claimants have until November 6 to appeal and are reportedly preparing challenges.
