'Like I'd had a breakdown': Sara Pascoe claims she was fired from David Walliams' 'Wall of Fame' for being shy

Sara Pascoe, 45, tells Radio Times she froze during filming of the Sky1 panel show, sitting silently after jokes failed to land until producers let her go. She replaced model Tamara Ecclestone after two weeks but lasted only eight episodes before the series was cancelled in 2011.

Fellow panellists on the show included Kate Garraway, Jack Dee and Andrew Maxwell.

Pascoe also says panel shows lack platforms for newer comics: 'There's too much caution.'

This is her second recent firing confession — she separately claims the BBC replaced her on 'Great British Sewing Bee' after maternity leave with 'a younger woman'.
