Lindsay Clancy holdout juror says his fiancée needed a police escort after he refused to acquit her

Michael Desronvil, 48, was the sole juror who voted to convict in the Lindsay Clancy child-murder case, triggering a mistrial — and he says the backlash became so severe that his fiancée had to be given a police escort to and from their home. In his first televised sit-down interview, Desronvil described the deaths of Clancy's three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — as a 'methodical execution,' saying he had no reasonable doubt that Clancy was criminally responsible. He also rejected claims by Clancy's defence attorney that he had been dishonest during jury selection about prior domestic violence allegations, insisting he 'answered everything truthfully.'
Desronvil, a father of a five-year-old, refers to the three strangled children as 'the three angels.'
Fellow juror Nick Dargie, 25, said that during deliberations Desronvil never put forward 'a single piece of evidence' to support his vote to convict.
Clancy admitted using exercise bands to strangle her children but entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, citing postpartum psychosis.
