Lindsay Clancy holdout juror insists he had no 'reasonable doubt', as fellow jurors fire back

Michael Desronvil, 48, the lone holdout juror who triggered a mistrial in the Lindsay Clancy triple-murder case, has given his first public interview on television, flatly denying fellow jurors' assertions that he privately admitted to having reasonable doubt. Clancy strangled her three children — Cora, aged 5, Dawson, aged 3, and infant Callan — with exercise bands in January 2023, then entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. No retrial date has been set, and prosecutors have yet to say whether they will pursue the same first-degree murder charges.

Desronvil stated 'I had a lot of evidence to back up my claim' but declined to reveal specifics pending the appeal process.

Fellow juror Nick Dargie, 25, pushed back sharply, saying Desronvil 'couldn't show a single piece of evidence' and repeatedly struggled to defend his position during deliberations.

Jury foreperson Roni Carlson had previously alleged that Desronvil 'admitted he had reasonable doubt' yet still refused to sign not-guilty forms he had already started filling out.
