Lindsay Clancy will testify that she told doctors of 'homicidal ideation' before her three children died, says Patrick Clancy's lawyer

Patrick Clancy's wrongful death lawsuit against his ex-wife Lindsay's medical providers reached a key hearing at Norfolk Superior Court on Wednesday, a month after a mistrial was declared in Lindsay's murder trial for the January 2023 killings of their three children. His lawyer Howard Cooper told the court Lindsay will eventually testify that she explicitly warned her doctors she had thoughts of harming the children. Defence lawyers for the providers deny any such warning was ever made, and have filed motions to dismiss.
Cooper said Lindsay told her providers of 'homicidal ideation' and fear 'something awful' would happen to her children.
Doctors' defence lawyer Mary Azzarito argued Lindsay told her mother and husband about her thoughts — but never her providers.
Defendants South Shore Health System and Aster Mental Health claim legal immunity protects them from Patrick's negligence claims.
