Liz Truss is mocked over 'Bank Job' book blaming the 'Bank of England' for her mini-budget downfall

Social media users rebranded the Reservoir Dogs-style cover 'Lettuce Job', reviving the lettuce that famously outlasted her in Downing Street. Another X user retitled it 'w**k job'. Her own former trade policy minister, Conor Burns, ridiculed the release on X. The 99-page book, from Mike Graham's Free Speech Press, is due out next week, timed with the first Budget of Andy Burnham's government.
Gordon Brown and Tony Blair loom behind her in sunglasses on the cover.
Truss promises to 'lift the lid' and challenge the 'establishment narrative' on 2022.
