London bus fares will rise by 10p to £1.85 next month as Sadiq Khan's fare freeze comes to an end

From November 1, the daily bus and tram cap goes up 30p to £5.55 in a city where bus journeys exceed five million every day. Concession card holders face a 5p increase as well. The rise ends a fares freeze in place since March 2023, while Tube, rail and Travelcard caps stay frozen until March next year.
London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan extended the freeze in summer, calling it an 'emergency cost-of-living measure'.
Transport for London insists fares remain '17% lower' than if they had tracked inflation.
