Lorraine Kelly's show is pulled off air and This Morning is delayed after a power cut hits ITV's studio

Susanna Reid and Ed Balls broke the news live on Good Morning Britain, confirming a power cut at ITV's Covent Garden studio had knocked Lorraine Kelly's show off the schedule entirely and pushed This Morning back to an 11am start. GMB was extended by 30 minutes to fill the gap, with Reid joking she hoped the production team had 'plenty to fill the space'. Lorraine, 66, posted a video from her car on the way in, telling fans there had been 'a bit of a hoo-ha' but promising she would return Thursday.
Lorraine said she was 'really looking forward' to interviewing Sharleen Spiteri, who was due to promote Texas's new single and 30th anniversary tour.
Ed Balls quipped he would 'keep smiling' as an unscheduled half-hour of live television loomed.
Lorraine captioned her Instagram post: 'These things happen. Can't be helped. See you tomorrow.'
