Man, 26, is arrested on suspicion of murdering a 38-year-old who was attacked by four armed people in Leeds

Rahiem Jackson, 38, known as Reema, was pronounced dead after being set upon by four weapon-wielding attackers outside a property on Hedley Chase, New Wortley, Leeds, at 10.23pm on 24 October. The Metropolitan Police made the arrest in London, with the suspect remaining in custody as West Yorkshire Police's homicide team continues its investigation.
Jackson's family called his killing "a very cowardly, cruel and senseless act of vicious violence" and said they were "left inconsolable."
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Bates described the arrest as "a significant development" and confirmed officers are still appealing for witness information.
Police believe the attack on Jackson — a son, father, partner and uncle — was targeted and isolated.
