'Man, 32, tried to abduct girl, 13, at a Florida gas station after telling her to 'give him some kisses''

Michael Polanco, 32, is charged with battery and kidnapping over Monday's broad-daylight attack at a Shell station in Miramar, near Miami. Newly released 911 audio captures a witness telling dispatchers: 'A guy just tried to grab a kid.' He said the man fled on a scooter. Polanco allegedly seized the girl by the neck and marched her away from the scene.

Court records say Polanco allegedly told her to ask the 911 caller for scissors.

She ran into the gas station for help after an auto-shop worker yelled at Polanco.

Surveillance footage allegedly shows Polanco in a bright orange bicycle helmet and a blue fanny pack.
