Jahmal Ruddock-Senior, of Gaul Street in Bulwell, is charged with assisting an offender and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Monday. PC Lee Lane, once honoured for his 'bravery and determination', was hit at an Angel Row bus stop at 4.50am on 18 October. Commissioner Gary Godden said his injuries are 'most likely to be life-altering'. Prosecutors allege the shotgun fell to the floor and fired.

Aisha Zaman, 27, a rapper known as 'Bandit', is remanded on firearms charges.

Prosecutor Mairin Long alleges Zaman took the gun from a man and hid it.

PC Lane has undergone several surgeries since the shooting, a court heard.
