Man, 48, is charged with attempted murder after father was shot breaking up a road rage row

Paul Rosser-Davies, 48, of Brewhouse Road, Greenwich, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life over the October 22 shooting in Woolwich. The 32-year-old victim, a father described by family as "an innocent man at the wrong place at the wrong time," was shot in the face after pulling over to defuse a road rage argument on Frances Street near the Royal Artillery Barracks. He was airlifted to an east London hospital and remains in a critical condition. Rosser-Davies is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The victim reportedly had a one per cent chance of surviving after being shot multiple times in the face.
Officers found him wounded inside his parked car at around 8.09pm before the shooter fled in a dark-coloured saloon towards Woolwich Church Street.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley of the Met's Specialist Crime Command described the attack as a "senseless act of violence" and urged anyone with information to come forward.
