A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Bradley Whieldon, 19, who was stabbed to death on Brookhouse Road in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, on Friday, October 9. The suspect, a British Asian boy from Hanley who cannot be named because of his age, also faces an attempted murder charge after a second teenager was taken to hospital with injuries first feared life-threatening; he is now stable.

Detective Inspector Katie Gregory assured the community there was 'no wider risk' after the killing.

Police want footage from Brookhouse Road between 9pm and just after midnight, submitted anonymously if preferred.

'Life will never, ever, be the same without you,' wrote his mum, dad and family.
