Man is charged after allegedly pulling a butcher knife on Michael B. Jordan's 'Miami Vice '85' set in New York

Alex Perez, 23, is accused of brandishing the knife during a 'verbal dispute' close to the filming location at 11.15pm on Friday. New York police said the other man became 'fearful for his safety'. Footage captures a knife being drawn from his sweatshirt's front pocket before an officer places him in handcuffs. He is charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, and nobody was hurt.

'He's got a knife,' someone shouts as a crowd gathers around the confrontation.

Austin Butler co-stars in the reboot, which is due in cinemas in May 2028.
