Man with five prior arrests is charged after allegedly pulling a butcher knife on Michael B. Jordan's New York film set

Alex Perez, 23, of Brooklyn, is accused of producing the blade during a verbal dispute with a production staffer on 'Miami Vice '85', who told police he feared for his safety. Video shows Perez being escorted away by a crew member before he allegedly pulled the knife from his sweatshirt pocket. Officers detained him at around 11.15pm on Friday near Avenue N and McDonald Avenue. No one was hurt and police recovered the knife.

Perez allegedly hurled the n-word at a staffer while he was in handcuffs.

His prior arrests reportedly include alleged gang activity, assault with a firearm and burglary.

Jordan was spotted filming night scenes on the Brooklyn set that same Friday.
